Not My Choice steps up to the mark
29 September 2007
Not My Choice, owned by David Kilpatrick, ran a good debut race on March 31, but it wasn’t until September 29 when he was able to show his true ability.
The son of champion Australian sprinter Choisir impressed watchers with his all the way win in the Boodles Diamond Nursery (Class 4) (2yo,0-85) 5f at Chester.
Ridden by John Egan he cleared out from his inside draw (3) and went on to score a comfortable length and three quarters win over Thunder Bay and Baldemar who had both won previous career starts.
