Superfast Freddie wins again

Fast Freddie has done it again, with the  three-year-old shaking off a weight increase following his last start win to take out the Pontin's Holidays Handicap (Class 6) (3yo+,0-53) 1200m at Wolverhampton on Tuesday.

The margin may have been just a head to Trinculo, but the pace was on all the way and the son of Agnes World never once shirked his task.

Ridden by Neil Callan, Fast Freddie is improving at every step and he is definitely showing signs of developing into a quality horse for owner Gordon Crawford.

At the same meeting King Kenny (Neil Callan) went close to making it a double for Martin Grange Racing when finishing second to Hilbre Court in the European Breeders' Fund Novice Stakes (Class 5) (2yo)  1m½f.

King Kenny, owned by Gordon Crawford and Willie McKay, is bred to run further being by Lomitas from Salanka (IRE) and the two-year-old was only having his second race start.

He has a lot to learn, but don't doubt his ability.  All he needs is time and race experience and he'll be winning for sure.

Jockey Neil Callan who rode a treble after winning on Restless Soul was awarded the the Racing Post 'Star Performance' of the day.
